I had quite a few Windows 7 installation discs that I was about to throw away, but it then hit me that there would be some buyers and/or collectors who were into this stuff on eBay. It surprised me that within three days, I sold all five of my Windows 7 discs which were four Pro Versions and one Ultimate Version.
Windows 11 was released recently and Microsoft offered a free upgrade from Windows 10, provided that a machine had met minimum requirements of having a TPM 2.0 and CPU younger than three and a half years; one of my daily drivers met that requirement and I went through the upgrade process with no problems.
