I flew down to SoCal for the weekend to attend the wedding of my friend Travis and his wife, Cassie. I hungout in Ontario, Ranch Cucamonga, Redlands, and Yucaipa. Rancho Cucamonga had an 85º Bakery Cafe and that was where I bought some baked goods which were surprisingly cheaper (10-12%) than my local one.The weather was scorching hot during the afternoons ranging from 90º-98º F. Travis’s in-law’s backyard to say the least, was epic. I’ve never seen such a large backyard in a city suburb. The backyard of the in-law’s was filled with lush plants including sunflowers, orange groves, an olive tree, a fig tree, etc. Moreover, the workshop had many antiques and collectibles, worthy to be filmed for TV or original streaming content.

While hanging out in the Redlands which seemed like a college town, I spotted an anime/otaku themed Toyota  RAV4. There was also a heavily modded Toyota FJ Cruiser with an military inspired theme and a massive front engine pipe. Also, the town’s sister cities clock was a pleasant spectacle.

I have to give mad respect for Travis’s father-in-law, Brent for his massive DIY workmanship in implementing a 19th century countryside French inspired wedding decor, setting the audio system, setting up the chairs and tables for both the ceremony and following dinner, as well as other wedding relating tasks in the extremely hot weather.

Before my flight back to Washington, I stopped by Avocado Burger right by the Ontario Airport for breakfast which was quite tasty despite the food establishment being fast food and located right next to a gas station; that’s one of the great things about California, is that you can find tasty and/or cheap food in unassuming places.
