The family of my friend Patricia was moving and needed to offload about thirty-five years worth of items. Since liquidating stuff on eBay, Craig’s List, OfferUp, and Amazon is a hobby of mine, I couldn’t resist taking all of that stuff. The experience was very eye-opening to say the least, and I had to make around five trips to transport the stuff.

Some notable items in which I was most very surprised that actually sold were of the following:

  • ATI video card from the early 2000s with a broken fan
  • Sharp VCR with a malfunctioning tape eject mechanism
  • 2002 Samsung 19.4 CRT Monitor which had lost a bit of brightness
  • 2009 MacBook Pro box w/Discs (No laptop)
  • Malfunctioning HP laptop from around 2007
  • Early 2000s Linksys router
  • A TI calculator from the 1980s with corroded battery contacts
