For the past few months, I’ve been regrowing carrot tops and the chopped off bottoms of onions; surprisingly, most of the craps survived. I did cover these in plastic tarp during the night to protect them from totally freezing. Moreover, this winter in the Pacific Northwest was relatively warm to the extent I saw flowers blooming near the end of January.
