Recently, I was browsing through the foreign movie category on Amazon Prime and noticed quite a few Mainland Chinese propaganda films that were made decades ago, likely around the 1960s or 1970s.
Usually I see mostly Korean films and low-budget Japanese films in the section, but I was surprised to see this type in there because it seemed totally out of sync with most of the Prime demographic. I showed this to one of my friends, and he commented that it was possible that some CCP sypathizers in Amazon’s staff may have slipped these in or that the CCP paid Amazon to do so. I took his comment with a grain of salt.
