This was an iBuypower gaming PC that I saw for sale at the Covington Walmart today and I thought it was terrible value overall. For that price range, the gaming PC had only two RAM slots instead of four which prevents expanding RAM capacity without taking the current ones and replacing them with higher capacity […]

I was at the Walmart in Covington today and was checking their electronics section and spotted a camo-skinned laptop by HP. Judging from the specs and price, it wasn’t very high quality or rugged/military-grade. There were no dust-proof or water-resistant certifications on the specs and I didn’t expect it to have them at that very […]

For the last year or so, I have transitioned from all my personal computers from regular hard disk drives (HDD) to solid-state drives (SSD) for the primary drives. The main reason was because I wanted the smartphone and tablet experience in which applications and processes load instantly or in a few seconds, including operating system boot. I’m superbly […]

Recently I found a new software called Waifu2x that easily enlarges image files up to 2x without significant quality reduction. Previously, there was no simple way to enlarge image files up to 2x without huge artifacting or pixelation, but Waifu2x is now a simple solution. The underlying technology behind it is artificial intelligence processing technology called Deep Convolutional […]

On the other hand, because of the simplicity and probably to ward off users from screwing up the UI, the OS is not very customizable in comparison to Android — you […]

Apparently kid shows like Dora The Explorer, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Dann Phantom, etc are grouped with 24, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Grimm, etc. I just wonder how a […]
