Hashbrowns

I consider these as one of the top bargains from Trader Joe’s in my area; these are a pack of ten units and the total price is about the same as a single McDonald’s one in my area. These are often sold out in my local Trader Joe’s and I usually buy two packs of these per grocery excursion.

Organic Carrots of Many Colors

I use these in salads and curries on a weekly basis, as well as a healthy replacement snack over chips. Surprisingly, these are cheaper than regular non-organic carrots at my local Fred Meyer.

Flour Tortillas

There Trader Joe’s tortillas contain 11% sodium which is substantially less than the big brands that are in the range of 18-24%.

Pizza Margherita

This is a relatively affordable Neapolitan-style pizza that’s imported from Italy. I prefer this to most other frozen pizza brands because the dough is not thick relatively.

Organic Blue Corn Tortilla Chips

Counter-intuitively, the batches I’ve been getting of these lately were from Canada. I would describe that the taste of these in comparison to the more common yellow and white tortilla chips is that these are much earthier.

Ridge Cut Potato Chips

These are ridge cut, thick, and crispy potato chips that I consider as a cheaper alternative to Tim’s Cascade and Kettle Brand.

Umami Seasoning

I season rice, noodle, meat, and tofu pot dishes with this. This is my go-to seasoning when I’m aiming to make something quick and flavorful without using many fresh aromatics.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

An unorthodox pizza style and probably Southern California inspired.

Greek Spanakopita

I enjoy the textures of the flaky crust and the cheese and spinach filling.
